Trend Watch! We are well into what industry types call “fashion month.” First it was New York, then London, we’re wrapping up in Milan and then Paris. Each fashion week sets the trends for the coming seasons. I loved what was brought to the table at New York Fashion Week|Spring 2015; all trends I’m loving and looking forward to styling next spring!
Fringe: this is a trend we’re already seeing going strong for this fall and I’m so glad it’s carrying over into next spring!
Ruffles: always a girly classic. I loved the delicate ways some designers incorporated it into their pieces on the runway. With this trend you can either go big time dramatic with ruffles or a little more subtle like below. It’s up to you!
Gingham Print: Such a fun print! Great for pattern-mixing. While the below pictured are a little “Dorothy-esque”, I love them. A pair of pants, a bag or great blazer, rocking this print is going to be so fun.
Oversized Floral print: I’ve always loved a great floral pattern; it never goes out of style. So, why not up the ante and go dramatic and oversized! Need I say more?
Palm Tree Print: Patterns are definitely in! Just like the oversized floral print, this print made a major apperance on the runways and is making a statement. I never would have thought I’d like a palm tree print like I do floral, but I have to say – it’s so cute and fun!

I always love trying new things and making a statement with my style. I look forward to seeing how what we saw this SS15 fashion week will influence what I’ll be seeing in my local OKC boutiques. I’m sure I’ll have plenty to choose from!
